Premium Tour for Inbound Visitors to Experience Setouchi from the Sea
Launch of the "MIHARA Adventure Cruise" Project

ANxtend Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Tatsuya Abe) and KOTOYA Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Mihara City, Hiroshima; Representative: Taiki Izumi) will launch an experiential tourism product aimed at expanding passenger traffic to the eastern Hiroshima area and extending stay duration through activities, with the cooperation of Mihara City. This product will be available online starting March 24, 2026 (for use from April 1, 2026). Additionally, a new collaboration product with the 100-year-old "Fresh Fish Hosoi" will be developed as "Shimanami Treasure Ship Musubi" and offered in the premium tour.

1. Background and Purpose of the Project

Mihara City in Hiroshima Prefecture is a city where you can enjoy history and food, featuring the "Floating Castle" Mihara Castle and its famous "Octopus Cuisine." Mihara Port has played an important role as a hub for maritime transportation to Shikoku and the islands of Setouchi. However, in recent years, there have been challenges such as a decrease in route users, aging port facilities, and the need to create vibrancy and attractive urban landscapes utilizing the port in the city center. Plans are underway to create places where people can visit, enjoy, and stay, centered around the port, contributing to tourism promotion through the establishment of new tourist routes and revitalization of Sakishima. This project aims to connect Mihara Port with resort accommodations on the islands of the Rabbit Island (Okunoshima), Sakishima, and the Shimanami Kaido, maximizing the appeal of the sea as a gateway and enhancing the quality of the tourism experience, thereby extending stay duration and promoting regional revitalization.

【1】 Mihara Fox Inari Shrine Visit & Fortune Cruise

Course: Mihara Round Trip (Itosaki Shrine - Ko Sakishima Lighthouse - Suwa Inari Shrine) 5 departures per day (cruise approximately 50 minutes)
Departure point: Mihara Port Visitor Pier (Reception: Pier)
Operating days: Scheduled from April 1, 2026 (Wednesday) - Operates only with prior reservation
Reservation: From March 24, 2026 (Tuesday) - Online sales, each trip limited to 12 people, minimum operation 2 people

【2】 Shimanami Adventure Cruise & Cycling Tour

Course: Mihara Port Visitor Pier - Setoda Port 1 departure per day (one-way cruise approximately 40 minutes)

4. Future Prospects

By collaborating with various businesses in the Mihara region and surrounding areas, such as "Tender Cruise" that allows direct enjoyment of cruises from large passenger ships calling at Mihara, we aim to create and sell new regional charm experience programs through route development, enhancing the high added value of regional tourism, attracting visitors, and revitalizing the region.
